After turning 7, your children will be feeling very big and grown up and will enjoy the independence of brushing their teeth themselves. Here are a few reminders that you might want to share and reinforce:

They should brush each tooth with a gentle circular motion and remember to include the gum line.

It's important to clean the front, back, top and bottom — but gently!

It takes 2 whole minutes of brushing to get teeth really clean.

Brush for 2 minutes for 25% stronger teeth

Brushing properly means that greater amounts of plaque will be removed.

Tell them to spit. The fluoride will continue to protect their teeth after brushing.
